Pistachio Cake, made by Michelle. She very generously made a cake that could be frozen. Leftovers? What leftovers? Demolished and enjoyed. Yummmm.
This is 50-week celebration to mark Paul's milestone. From 31 July 2010 we will enjoy occasions with friends and family which involve cake (any kind of cake....). It's a time for creativity, fun and humour as we set out to consume 50 cakes in 50 weeks. My wonderful husband deserves to celebrate his milestone in style with good people and with lots of cakes. Thanks to Frances (Paul's sister, my sister-in-law) for suggesting the blog. Thanks to Karen (my sister) for creating the blog.

Cake number 30, for Paul who turned 50, baked by our friend who is 60. Lovely round numbers...and the cake was round too: Blueberry Ring Cake.
Enjoyed for weeks after, freezes well, great morning tea snack.
Thank you Alyson! And a special thank you to Judyth who visited and joined us for the celebration.
